MahilaBol started in India in Partnership with Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India and United Nations Women.
The initiative which ran from 22 February 2018 to 10 June 2018 was focusing on 2 things, one to spread awareness of Sexual Harassment of Women at workplace and how women can tackle it, and the second task was to gather detailed insight by way of a questionnaire to have a strong data which can be used for driving solutions.
MahilaBol covered more than 200,000 women from 45 cities in India, it went to Rural, Urban and semi urban locations in 13 states of India. Eventually getting qualified survey from more than 35,000 women from 30 sectors.
The collective voice of women in the form of findings has been submitted to the relevant authorities by end July 2018, to review, understand and take recommended actions as deemed appropriate. The report is not public as of now.
